💍 Engagement Session – Our First Step Together
Every wedding photography journey with me begins with an engagement session. Not only is this such a fun and meaningful way to capture this sweet season of your life—it’s also the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other! You’ll get to experience what it’s like to work with me, how I guide and pose you, and what my natural flow is like. Most importantly, this session helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera so that come wedding day, taking photos feels like second nature. (But hey—that’s a whole blog post of its own 😉)
📋 Timeline Assistance – One of My Most Important Offerings
One thing I always offer my couples is timeline assistance. Why? Because timing is everything on a wedding day—and it’s something a lot of people overlook. What you think might take ten minutes (like family photos or bridal party shots) might actually take much longer when nerves, logistics, and all the excitement of the day kick in.
As your photographer, I bring the experience of photographing SO MANY weddings, and I help you plan your timeline in a way that ensures we have enough time for everything without feeling rushed or stressed. I always recommend creating your timeline with your photographer first and then sharing that with your other vendors—because we’re the ones who are with you from getting ready until the last dance!
📸 A Fun, Personal, Professional Presence
If there's one thing I can promise you—it’s that we’re going to have so much fun together! From the moment we meet to your wedding day itself, my goal is to make this experience joyful, relaxed, and real. I show up as a professional, but I also show up as a person who genuinely cares.
On your wedding day, you’ll find me wearing neutral colors—black, tan, brown, grey—whatever helps me blend in so all the attention stays right where it should be: on you. (Let’s be real, probably not black in the summer... because Michigan heat is no joke 😅). I work hard to stay present, blend into the background during key moments, and capture everything authentically while supporting you however you need.
🖥️ After the Wedding – The Magic Continues
Once your wedding day is over, my job is just beginning! I immediately back up your photos to multiple devices and hard drives to make sure your memories are safe. This is one of the most important parts of the process—and one I take very seriously.
Then comes the editing—every photo gets my full attention and care. I promise every couple a sneak peek within 24–48 hours, and your full gallery within 8 weeks. That doesn’t mean you won’t get them sooner (many of my couples do!), but you can rest assured that no matter what, your full gallery will be delivered within that 8-week window.
💕 From Clients to Friends
You might’ve noticed that I don’t use the word “clients” much. That’s because when you book me, you’re not just hiring a vendor—you’re gaining a new friend. I care deeply about every couple I work with, and many of them have stayed in my life long after the last dance. In fact, several of my past couples are coming to my wedding this October—and nothing makes me happier than knowing that the friendships we built through their weddings are still going strong.
