Today feels a little different.
Not because I photographed a wedding.
Not because I launched a new website.
Not because I bought new camera gear.
Today feels different because today marks the beginning of something I've been dreaming about for a long time.
Today, Capturing Moments Photography officially moved away from traditional wedding photography packages...
...and stepped into something that feels so much more like me.
Wedding Experiences.
This change might seem small from the outside.
Maybe you noticed different wording on my website.
Maybe you noticed my collections look a little different.
Maybe you didn't notice anything at all.
But behind the scenes?
This has been one of the biggest mindset shifts I've made since I photographed my very first wedding nearly ten years ago.
This Change Didn't Happen Overnight
If I'm being completely honest, I've wrestled with this decision for months.
Because changing something you've done for years is a little scary.
For so long, I offered what almost every wedding photographer offers:
Wedding packages.
Hours.
Deliverables.
Collections.
And while there was absolutely nothing wrong with that...
It never fully represented what I was actually giving my couples.
Because the longer I've photographed weddings, the more I've realized something.
I don't just show up with cameras.
I become part of one of the most meaningful days of someone's life.
Somewhere Along the Way...

Somewhere between fixing veils before portraits...
Helping moms button wedding dresses...
Calming nervous brides before they walked down the aisle...
Finding grandparents for family photos...
Carrying bouquets...
Cheering during first dances...
And tearing up behind my camera during heartfelt vows...
I realized something.
My job has never been just taking beautiful photographs.
My job is helping create a wedding day that my couples actually get to enjoy.
Because beautiful photographs happen naturally when couples feel present.
When they aren't worried.
When they aren't rushed.
When they're simply soaking in the biggest day of their lives.
That's the experience I want every couple to have.
Why "Experience" Matters So Much More Than "Package"
The word package started feeling transactional.
It made it sound like wedding photography was about choosing one option over another.
Eight hours.
Ten hours.
An online gallery.
Done.
But weddings aren't transactional.
They're deeply personal.
They're emotional.
They're beautifully unpredictable.
Sometimes your ceremony starts a few minutes late.
Sometimes your grandma wants one more hug.
Sometimes your best friend pulls you aside because they've been waiting all day to tell you how much they love you.
Sometimes sunset is too beautiful not to steal away for ten extra minutes together.
Those moments shouldn't feel rushed.
Those moments shouldn't be interrupted because everyone is watching the clock.
And honestly...
Neither should your photographer.
I wanted to create experiences that gave my couples room to breathe.
Room to be fully present.
Room for the unexpected moments that often become the most meaningful ones.
This Is What You Can Expect
If you're one of my couples—or you're thinking about becoming one—here's what this change really means.
It means you'll still receive the timeless, emotional images you've always seen from Capturing Moments Photography.
But now, every part of the process has been intentionally designed around the experience.
From your engagement session...
To timeline planning...
To wedding day guidance...
To helping bustle your dress...
To fixing your veil...
To delivering your gallery in a keepsake box you'll treasure for years to come...
Every detail has been chosen with one goal in mind:
Helping you enjoy your wedding day instead of feeling like you're rushing through it.
This Is Only the Beginning
As I celebrate ten years of photographing weddings, this feels like the most authentic version of my business yet.
Not because everything is changing.
But because everything finally feels aligned.
The way I serve.
The way I photograph.
The way I care for my couples.
The way I tell stories.
This next chapter isn't about becoming a different photographer.
It's about becoming even more of the photographer I've always wanted to be.
One who creates space for genuine moments.
One who serves with intention.
One who believes your experience matters just as much as your photographs.
Thank You
To every couple who has trusted me over the last ten years...
Thank you.
You've shaped not only my business but also my heart for this work.
You've taught me that the most meaningful part of photography isn't creating beautiful images.
It's creating an experience that allows you to truly live the moments you're asking me to preserve.
I'm so excited for this next chapter.
And I truly can't wait to welcome future couples into it.
Here's to slower moments.
Bigger hugs.
More laughter.
Less rushing.
More intention.
More storytelling.
And a wedding experience that feels every bit as beautiful as the memories we'll create together.
Welcome to the new chapter of Capturing Moments Photography.
I couldn't be happier you're here.
